Accounts Executive - Events

Role & responsibilities

• Update the daily status of income and expenditure for each event.
• Collect cash and cheques from parties at various locations daily.
• Follow up on bank and cash transactions, including deposits and withdrawals of cash and cheques.
• Maintain a manual bank register on a daily basis.
• Record journal entries, debit notes, and cash and bank transactions in Tally regularly.
• Deliver event invoices to the DHL Accounts Department or clients as needed.
• Follow up with the Events Team on pending outsource bills and cost sheets.
• Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all transactions.
• Coordinate and interact with the Events Team regularly.
• Send emails to relevant departments regarding pending issues.
• Visit event sites at regular intervals and provide status updates.
• Prepare rate comparison statements for outsourced parties.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the concerned HOD.

Preferred candidate profile

• MBA with 1 year of experience
• B.Com with 24 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• ERP system experience is an added advantage.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
