SAEL - Assistant General Manager/Deputy General Manager - Operation & Maintenance - Solar Utility Scale Projects (10-16 yrs)

About:

- Candidate is responsible for the operation & Maintenance of ground mount and rooftop solar power Plant positioned at HO .

- The AGM/DGM has to ensure that the solar PV plants are operated safely, efficiently and in accordance with the generation and financial benchmarks of the company and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Benchmarking and analysis of KPI such as Generation, Inverter performance, losses, auxiliary power consumption, PA, PR etc to maximize plant efficiency.

- DGR Evaluation and generation analysis for the plants.

- Verifying RCA, CAPA.

- Opex cost optimization.

- Inter department coordination and support with HR, Admin, Accounts, Finance, Insurance, Purchase, Engineering, Security for regular O&M works.

- Coordination with the site team and resolving and helping in day to day challenges and any site /local issues.

- Monthly P&L review with Accounts, finance and stakeholders.

- Planning of spares, Man power, Budget.

- Coordination of activities for sites under EPC O&M.

- Coordinating with OEMs for spares, AMC, warranty and service requests.

- Follow ups with the Site team for plant works/issues.

- Preparing site for audits and coordination with External and internal auditors for successfully executing all types of audits.

- Repowering assessment and execution wherever required.

- Providing desired data to auditors and to investor queries.

- Maintaining and tracking necessary approvals/Certificate/NOC.

- Contract Management with Vendor/OEM.

- Resource allocation and optimum utilization of resources.

- Coordination with Contactors, Suppliers for material delivery and Services.

- Ensuring desired compliances are executed on time.

- Proactive approach on generation Improvement.

- Track maintenance schedule.

- Ensure all works are performed with Safe practices.

- Ensuring all calibration, tests etc are performed as per schedule.

- Conduct weekly/monthly meetings with the site team.

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment is present at site.

- Maintain accurate records of operation & maintenance for audits.

- Provide detailed reports on system performance and issues.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Education Qualification: Minimum qualification Degree in Electrical/Power/Electronics/EC Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 10 years or more experience in solar O&M.

Key Skills:

- Good understanding of PV systems and Electrical Concepts of AC & DC.

- Well aware about ground mount plant and rooftop plant safety practices and protocols.

- Risk Management.
