Oversee corporate governance practices and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Organise and manage board meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and resolutions
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the business
Liaise with external advisors and vendors as necessary
Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures
Train and educate staff on legal and compliance matters as needed

In your day-to-day role you will:
As an Associate Manager Secretarial & Legal, your day involves overseeing corporate governance practices, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities include maintaining minutes and records of meetings, organising board meetings, and handling the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts
Additionally, you will be required to conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant laws and regulations and collaborate with external advisors and vendors when necessary
What do you need to bring
Bachelor's degree in Law (LL
B) along with Company Secretary (CS) qualification
4+ years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in a large corporation within the financial or technology sector
In-depth knowledge of Companies Act, SEBI Regulations
Strong understanding of corporate governance practices and legal compliance
Ability to work under pressure
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work at all levels within the organisation
Flexible and practical approach to work
Excellent drafting and communication skills
