Demand Forecasting & Planning:
1. Ensure a three-month demand outlook for all verticals is provided monthly to procurement, factory operations, and supply chain teams.
Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP):
1. Publish the monthly S&OP calendar, outlining key activities and deadlines for relevant teams.
2. Collaborate with sales teams to finalize the three-month sales forecast, incorporating key factors such as promotions, pricing changes, market conditions, and new product launches.
3. Provide forecast exception inputs to operations, procurement, and import/export teams, addressing capacity constraints in S&OP discussions.
4. Conduct monthly S&OP meetings with active participation, ensuring adherence to the defined index.
5. Maintain high forecasting accuracy (above 75%) across all SKUs at an aggregate level.
Inventory Control & Management:
1. Ensure finished goods (FG) inventory levels align with established norms and implement liquidation plans when necessary.
2. Analyze ageing inventory and propose preventive action plans for managing obsolete FG, raw materials (RM), and packaging materials (PM) inventory.
3. Conduct monthly Inventory Demand Review meetings in line with the established framework.
New Product Development (NPD) & Launch Planning:
1. Ensure supply chain readiness and inventory management for new product launches, adhering to planned quantities and timelines.
2. Gather NPD launch plans from Sales, Category, and Leadership teams, integrating them into S&OP for execution.
3. Assess actual demand vs. planned demand for new products in S&OP meetings and determine the next course of action (e.g., continuation, hold, or redistribution).
Process & System Improvements:
1. Identify opportunities to enhance S&OP activities, contributing to process development from the ground up.
2. Design solutions-whether system-based or process-driven-to address gaps and improve efficiency through automation and reporting.
Qualifications:
1. Postgraduate/Master's degree: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience from top institutions.
2. Undergraduate degree: 4 to 7 years of relevant experience from top institutions.
3. Experience must be in Supply Chain & Operations, specifically in demand planning, supply planning, production planning, or S&OP.
Key Requirements:
1. Proactive and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership.
2. Ability to make decisions based on ambiguous data and drive clarity.
3. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to align stakeholders and drive consensus.
4. Effective communication and influence skills, especially when engaging with leadership.
5. Proficiency in tools such as SAP, Power BI, and Excel.
