Role Overview Description
What are we building?
FunnelStory is building a revenue data platform for Go-to market teams to engage and prioritize what matters. We are looking for a principal backend engineer to build out our core product.

Roles and responsibilities

• Building product from inception to V1.0
• You will set the foundations for our engineering team.
• You will influence and shape the architecture, engineering practices, and team culture.
• Build and manage the Infrastructure stack.
• Work on the backend tech stack using Go and Docker and SQL and AWS..
• Work closely with the co-founders and other engineers to design and develop new features.
• As we grow you will be able to lead a team

Required Skills and Experience

• 7+ years experience as a senior engineer with a background in CS
• 4+ years of writing backend services and/or REST APIs
• 4+ years of SQL experience using PostgreSQL or MySQL (or similar flavors)
• Experience with Docker and AWS
• Proficient in Go and have designed or architected key modules and components.
• Proficient in explaining complex ideas clearly
