PLC programmer Engineer

person should BE/B Tech having manufacturing plant experience (Automobile industry preferred) with 4 -5 years experience .

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PLC Programmer Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming and troubleshooting PLC systems, ensuring smooth automation of production processes. This position plays a key role in maintaining and optimizing automated machinery and systems, ensuring operational efficiency and the seamless integration of control systems within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• PLC Programming and Troubleshooting:
  Design, develop, and maintain PLC programs to control automated systems and machinery. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing PLC-controlled systems.
• System Integration:
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC systems with other automation devices, such as sensors, actuators, HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), and SCADA systems.
• Testing and Validation:
  Conduct thorough testing of PLC programs, ensuring they meet performance requirements. Perform validation of control systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
• Maintenance and Support:
  Provide technical support for PLC hardware and software systems. Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to avoid unexpected downtimes.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  Maintain detailed documentation of PLC programs, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system configurations. Provide regular reports on the status of PLC systems and any troubleshooting or system changes made.
• Automation Projects:
  Assist in the development and implementation of automation projects, including system design, specification, testing, and commissioning.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and production teams to improve system performance and troubleshoot production issues effectively.
• Compliance & Safety:
  Ensure all PLC programs comply with safety standards and regulations. Follow best practices in programming and maintain high standards for quality and safety in all operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in programming PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, etc.).
• Experience with HMI/SCADA systems and integration.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, circuit diagrams, and control panel design.
• Software Skills:
• Proficient in using PLC programming software (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, Mitsubishi GX Works).
• Ability to read and create technical documentation and reports.
• Problem-Solving:
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve issues in PLC-controlled systems.
• Communication Skills:
• Ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Certifications:
• Certifications in industrial automation, PLC programming, or related fields are a plus.
