We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in Angular to lead and manage a talented team of developers.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a team lead role and a strong technical background in designing and implementing scalable frontend solutions.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Unstop, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our platform's user experience while mentoring and guiding your team to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Architect, design, and implement robust front-end solutions using Angular (v14+).

- Set technical direction, define best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Optimize applications for performance, maintainability, and scalability.

- Drive innovation in Angular-based solutions, including modular architecture, lazy loading, component design, and troubleshoot & resolve advanced technical issues

- Ensure responsive design and seamless user experience across all devices.

Team Management :

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and back-end developers to align on project goals and requirements.

- Bridge communication between the team and stakeholders, ensuring clarity on deliverables and timelines.

Required Qualifications :

Experience : 3-5 years of proven experience in a team lead role, managing and mentoring frontend development teams.

Technical Skills :

Expert knowledge of Angular (v14 or higher) framework, including :

- Reactive Forms, NgRx, RxJS, Modules, Services, and Dependency Injection.

- Component-based architecture and lazy loading.

- Angular CDK and Material Design integration.

- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript/ES6+.

- Experience with state management libraries like NgRx or RxJS.

- Proficiency with Angular CLI, unit testing frameworks, and E2E testing tools.

- Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers (Webpack, npm/yarn).

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end services.

- Implementation and integration of third-party tools like Google Tag Manager (GTM), Microsoft Clarity, and Google Analytics for tracking and optimization.

- Expertise in building AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) to ensure fast, lightweight, and optimized pages for mobile devices.

Soft Skills :

- Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and decision-making abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage priorities under tight deadlines.

- Debugging and performance optimization using Chrome DevTools and Lighthouse.

- Experience with unit testing using Jasmine/Karma and E2E testing tools like Protractor or Cypress.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in building Angular-based design systems or reusable component libraries.

- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for Angular applications.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Firebase, AWS, or Azure.
