The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that all activities are in line with the overall strategic objectives. The COO will work closely with the CEO and other senior management to improve operational efficiencies, manage risks and drive growth in the business.
The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Youll have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader. Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives
Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
Assist CEO in fundraising ventures
Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
Manage relationships with partners/vendor REQUIREMENT AND SKILL
Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or Worked/Working as a GM.
Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
From Metal and mining industry Knowledge of HEMM
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Metal and Mining services industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering results.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in managing and growing a high-performing team
