Senior Analyst - Inventory Forecasting

Required

• Bachelors degree
• Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as math, statistics, operations research, or engineering
• 3+ years of experience in data science, analytical/statistical modeling or process improvement-oriented role in supply chain, aviation, manufacturing, or other relevant industry
• Programming experience in a scripting language such as Python, R
• Experience with machine learning techniques like time series forecasting, regression etc
• Familiarity with database models (eg, RDBMS, Hadoop) with high-level proficiency integrating complex transactional data in relational databases using SQL
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

• Masters degree
• Masters degree in a quantitative field such as math, statistics, data science/machine learning
• At least one year of airline experience
• At least one year of supply chain experience
• Familiarity with deep learning techniques
• Strong background in one or more supply chain functions
• Exhibits an analytical approach to problem solving with attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (eg, TIBCO Spotfire, Tableau, Palantir Foundry, MS-Power BI or equivalent)
• Experience with analytical model development and deployment in a related business area
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
