We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our design and build business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the design and build industry, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing deals with potential clients, while managing the overall development of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Development:
* Identify and qualify potential clients in the target market.
* Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
* Client Acquisition:
* Proactively reach out to prospective clients through various channels (e.g., cold calling, email, networking).
* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to showcase our design and build capabilities.
* Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability.
* Project Management:
* Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure.
* Collaborate with internal teams (design, engineering, construction) to ensure seamless project execution.
* Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
* Team Management:
* Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals.
* Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback.
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
* Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Design.
* Proven track record in business development and sales, preferably in the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of the design and build process.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in relevant software (CRM, MS Office, etc.).
