Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Manager for our Fabric Printing Mill to oversee daily operations and support the efficient production of high-quality printed fabrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with a focus on the textile industry, and hold an MBA or equivalent management qualification. This role is crucial to ensuring smooth operations, optimizing production efficiency, and driving improvements in processes while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the fabric printing mill, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Troubleshoot issues related to production, machinery, and staff.
  
• Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production workers, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across all departments. Assist in training and development programs for employees.
  
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize resource utilization in the fabric printing process.
  
• Quality Control: Ensure strict quality control measures are followed throughout the production process, including inspection of finished products to meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  
• Inventory & Supply Chain: Oversee the management of raw materials, printing chemicals, and finished goods. Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of materials to meet production demands.
  
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and operational performance. Prepare and present regular reports on production efficiency, quality, and any operational issues to senior management.
  
• Cost Management: Assist in controlling operational costs and identifying areas for cost reduction without compromising quality and safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: MBA or equivalent management degree; a background in textile engineering or related fields is preferred.
  
• Experience: 1-5 years of experience in operations management within a fabric printing or textile manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
  
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with ERP and production management software is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance processes.
