Research Associate - Intellectual Property Management

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for preparing patent landscaping
• Responsible for state-of-the-art-search/prior art search
• Responsible for patent trends and technology analysis
• Responsible for drafting of patent applications
• Review the literature alert patents/applications and respond with proper conclusions
• Respond to the queries raised by the marketing team for clarity on certain patents
• Respond to IP related queries by RA, Marketing and FDA
• Coordination and Interaction with scientists
• Responsible for monitoring prosecutions
• Responsible follow up with legal bodies
• Responsible for follow up with external attorneys
• Responsible for the preparation of freedom to operate statements

DESIRED SKILLS

• Hands on experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry in the IPM team
• Should have excellent oral & written communication
• Experience in handling patents.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, timeline-driven environment
