Head - Finance & Accounting - CA (7-9 yrs)

The Head of Finance and Accounting, with a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) background, is responsible for overseeing the financial operations, statutory compliance, and regulatory adherence within the organization.

This senior leadership role requires in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and corporate governance to ensure the company's financial health, integrity, and compliance with local and international laws.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.

- Liaise with auditors to facilitate smooth audits.

- Statutory & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local and international financial regulations, including corporate tax laws, VAT/GST, IFRS, and other statutory compliance obligations.

- Lead compliance audits and manage the timely filing of statutory documents.

- Internal Controls & Risk Management: Implement and monitor robust internal control systems to mitigate financial risks and enhance the reliability of financial reporting.

- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and high-performance standards.

- Liaison with External Stakeholders: Engage with regulatory authorities, auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant financial operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is essential.

- Strong expertise in statutory and regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and accounting standards.

- Proven leadership experience in managing finance and accounting functions.

- In-depth knowledge of corporate tax laws, financial regulations, and industry best practices.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- This role is ideal for a CA with significant experience in managing finance functions with mostly manufacturing, trading, FMCG or Import& Export industry.
