Role: Desktop Publishing Operator

Key Responsibilities:

- Question Paper Creation: Work with educators to transform rough drafts of question papers into finalized versions, ensuring the correct formatting, structure, and design elements are in place.

- Corrections/Formatting: Edit and make necessary corrections to student copies of the question papers, ensuring they are aligned with the required standards and are error-free.

- Uploading Content: Upload offline question papers to Unacademys online portal, ensuring proper categorization and accessibility for students.

- Collaborate with Educators: Communicate effectively with educators to understand specific formatting and design requirements for each question paper.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of each document before submission, checking for errors in text, formatting, and layout.

- Timely Delivery: Maintain a timeline for the creation, correction, and uploading of question papers to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in desktop publishing or document formatting.

- Familiarity with DTP software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc.).

- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in content and formatting.

- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Basic understanding of education content and how it is formatted for student use.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to different needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working in the education or e-learning industry.

Knowledge of MS Office, Mathpix, Mathtype and other important software to be known by DTP or other web-based formatting tools (optional).

Experience with content management systems or portals.
