Sourcing Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Sourcing and Vendor Management:

⮚ Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for mechanical and electronic components.

⮚ Negotiate contracts to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance.

⮚ Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.

Supply Chain Planning:

⮚ Plan, manage, and monitor end-to-end supply chain activities to ensure seamless operations. ⮚ Implement strategies for demand forecasting, inventory management, and cost optimization. ⮚ Coordinate with production and engineering teams to align supply with project requirements.

Process Improvement:

⮚ Develop and implement strategies to optimize sourcing and supply chain workflows.

⮚ Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or timelines.

Risk Mitigation:

⮚ Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier performance, delivery, and compliance.

⮚ Develop alternative sourcing strategies to ensure business continuity.

Data Analytics and Reporting:

⮚ Monitor KPIs and prepare periodic reports on supply chain performance.

⮚ Use analytics to improve decision-making and supplier performance tracking.
