Job Description
- Design and Development of Lithiu m-Ion Battery Packs in compliance with Indian and International standards
- Design and development of equipment for
- Collaborate with small teams on in-house development of novel and complex automation equipment
- Closely collaborate with external equipment integrators on custom automation equipment design
- Core DFMA role to help design next-gen battery architectures, Cell screening, Spot welding, and Automated Testing and Manufacturing lines
- Optimize battery production/assembly to obtain the maximum yield
- Optimize design to increase cycle life, reduce BOM costs and durability of the battery pack
- Plan and Establish systems for Li-Ion Battery recycling and refurbishing for secondary use cases.
- Design and Develop novel solutions and intellectual property in Automotive Battery Technology
- Create detailed Manufacturing Instructions to document new processes
- Closely collaboration with product design and line/equipment design teams to develop new production processes, simplify assembly strategies, and launch new battery tech.
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into system requirements and systems designs that can be effectively implemented
