We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical/Electronics Testing Engineer to join our motor control team.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience in electrical and electronics testing, particularly within the electric vehicle (EV) sector, focusing on powertrain systems and motor controllers.

The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct support R&D activities and Design Verification Testing on EV electrical and electronic systems to ensure their functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards

Requirements

What You Will Do:

1. Drive the reliable collection of high-quality test data, analyze and interpret results, present findings, and guide failure analysis.

2. Design and build custom test equipment, including PCBAs, harnesses, and fixtures, to improve validation efficiency, modularity, and repeatability.

3. Oversee and manage hardware validation for motor control systems and their subsystems within the vehicle.

4. Develop methods and tools to execute tests and evaluate results efficiently and repetitively.

5. Identify opportunities to enhance the safety, performance, and customer satisfaction of Ultraviolette products.

6. Analyze test data, communicate results clearly, and collaborate with design and reliability engineers to resolve issues.

7. Facilitate failure analysis to determine causes and drive resolution for issues identified during testing.

8. Train technicians and interns on operating and troubleshooting test systems to optimize the workload.

9. Develop test plans, procedures, and protocols for validating the performance, functionality, and safety of EV electrical/electronic components and systems. Document test procedures, results, and findings in detailed reports.

10. Design and implement test setups for board bring-up, thermal testing, and motor and motor controller evaluations. Document all procedures and results and provide recommendations for process improvements and optimizations
