1. Financial Transactions & Bookkeeping

• Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including vendor payments and customer invoices.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and retail sales records
• Handle daily cash flow management and report discrepancies.

2. Retail-Specific Accounting & Reconciliation

• Reconcile POS (Point of Sale) transactions with financial records.
• Manage inventory accounting, including stock adjustments, COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), and shrinkage analysis.
• Verify vendor invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payments.
• Track and analyze customer refunds, chargebacks, and promotional discounts.

3. Process Optimization & Automation

• Work with the finance and IT teams to streamline accounting workflows.
• Identify opportunities for automating reconciliation and reporting processes.
• Implement best practices in financial controls and risk management.
