1. Identify potential safety fire hazard; take appropriate action or make action plan/ recommendation to eliminate hazard as per the norms laid down.

2. Ensure that the fire extinguisher, smoke detectors, fire alarm and fire hydrant are in operating condition, regularly conduct fire drill and participate in fire prevention programs.

3. Provide first aid to employees and visitors in case of any injury and illness.

4. Responds to all fire alarms, determine whether a fire exists: make successful attempts to extinguish the fire (if it can be controlled) or else seek assistance from fire department.

5. Should be capable to investigate identify the reason behind the fire.

6. Write incident and accident reports and maintain the record.

7. Provide regularly training to all employees.

8. Work Permit System.

9. Arresting of Unsafe Act and Unsafe condition with its Mitigation on daily Basis.

10. Implementation of EHS Awareness / Promotional Programme.
