Assistant Manager - Stores

Role & responsibilities

UCAM is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager - Stores & Logistics to manage the company's inventory, stores, and logistics operations. The successful candidate will oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods as well as coordinate logistics activities such as transportation and warehousing.

• Independently able to handle the entire Stores and logistics process.
• Lead the factory Stores and logistics team in the planning and implementation of initiatives to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Stores and logistics processes.
• Prepare and maintain GRN, inventory, inward/outward register, rejection report.
• Responsible for 5S and safety for the Stores function.
• Budget approvals at the company level, help and advise departments on budget and cost controls.
• Prepare data for management review meetings.

• Familiarity with the SAP environment and basic experience of tools like lean manufacturing,
• be well-versed with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Have sound knowledge of Warehouse and Inventory management, GST and VAT.Awareness of productivity improvement tools.

• Additionally, the candidate should possess analytical aptitude and thinking, strong data collection and analytical skills for a complex project.
• Must be Self-motivated and self-organized.
• English & Kannada is must - Hindi is an advantaged advantage.
