SAP Basis Consultant (5-12 yrs)

Job Description :

We are currently seeking a seasoned SAP BASIS Consultant for our office in Navi Mumbai. The successful candidate will have 5-12 years of experience in SAP Basis and SAP Basis Operations Advanced. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation and success of our enterprise systems.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee the administration of SAP Basis, including configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP technical environment.

2. Manage and supervise SAP Basis functions including system installation, configuration, and performance tuning.

3. Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly.

4. Perform comprehensive analysis of SAP related issues to minimize business impact and provide efficient support to the team.

5. Oversee the management of SAP users, authorizations, and profiles.

6. Design, install, configure and maintain database systems.

7. Manage database access and permissions, ensuring the security and integrity of the system.

8. Review and manage database security, integrity, and backup procedures.

9. Execute disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure database availability during system outages or dysfunction.

10. Develop and maintain procedures for resolving faults and data loss, including archiving data.

11. Manage and maintain networks and network file systems.

12. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance on software application-related issues.

Skills :

1. 5-12 years of experience in SAP Basis and SAP Basis Operations Advanced.

2. Strong knowledge of OS Admin and managing Windows Linux systems.

3. Proficient in upgrading, installing, and configuring application software.

4. Strong cloud computing skills.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Proven experience in database administration.

7. Ability to write operating manuals and devise processes for resolving faults and data loss.
