Job Overview :

We are looking for a Senior SAP BASIS HANA Consultant with 8+ years of experience to manage and optimize SAP HANA environments.

This role involves overseeing SAP system installations, configurations, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, specifically focusing on SAP HANA and S/4HANA landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP BASIS & HANA Administration: Lead the installation, configuration, and management of SAP HANA, S/4HANA, ECC, and other SAP systems.

Database Management: Oversee SAP HANA database administration, including performance optimization, backups, restores, and disaster recovery.

System Optimization & Monitoring: Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, applying best practices for resource management.

Landscape & Transport Management: Manage SAP system landscapes, transport directories, and data migrations between systems.

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Lead root cause analysis for system issues and implement effective solutions.

Upgrades & Patches: Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancement packs for SAP and HANA systems.

Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security best practices, manage user roles, and handle audits.

Mentoring & Collaboration: Provide guidance and mentoring to junior consultants while collaborating with functional and technical teams to support SAP operations.

Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in SAP BASIS, with a strong focus on SAP HANA and S/4HANA.

- Extensive knowledge of SAP system architecture, landscape management, and HANA database tuning.

- Expertise in managing SAP HANA environments, including installation, backup/restore, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with SAP tools like HANA Studio, Solution Manager, and SAP Cloud Platform.

- Strong familiarity with Linux/Unix, Windows, and SAP Basis tools.

- SAP HANA certification and relevant SAP BASIS certifications are preferred.

- Proven ability to manage large-scale SAP landscapes and complex upgrades.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
