Shopify Developer

Role & responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to join our team at Tycho Technologies. The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in Shopify development, including custom theme development, app integration, and performance optimization. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and backend developers to create high-performing e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and templates.
• Implement and optimize Shopify apps and third-party integrations.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure website performance, security, and mobile responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify functionality, apps, and performance.
• Optimize store speed and implement SEO best practices.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Develop custom Shopify apps and features based on business requirements.
• Stay updated on Shopify updates, best practices, and emerging e-commerce trends.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Shopify development.
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and third-party app integrations.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Understanding of SEO principles and site performance optimization.
• Experience with Shopify Plus is a bonus.
