Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, tax compliance,
GST implementation, and preparation of final accounts.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable,
accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
2. Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to
accounting standards.
3. Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements, including income tax,
corporate tax, and GST.
4. Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
5. Provide guidance and support in tax planning and optimization strategies to minimize tax
liabilities.
6. Implement and maintain systems and processes for GST compliance, including proper
recording, reconciliation, and filing of GST returns.
7. Conduct internal, external audits to ensure compliance with taxation and GST regulations,
identify areas of improvement, and recommend corrective actions.
8. Lead the preparation of final accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and
regulations.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, automate tasks, and
enhance efficiency in tax and accounting-related areas.
10. Stay updated with changes in taxation laws, GST regulations, and accounting standards,
ensuring compliance throughout the organization.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance (CPA certification is highly desirable), MBA (Finance), ICW,
CA Inter
Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar management-level accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, taxation laws, and GST
regulations.
Extensive experience in tax compliance, including income tax, corporate tax, and GST.
Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and final accounts.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively supervise a team.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
Experience with financial software, ERP systems, GST software, and MS-Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all
