Customer Quality Manager

TVS Electronics is pioneer in manufacturing, selling of products like Point Of Sale (POS) devices, Dot Matrix
Printers, Keyboards, Mouses and providing extensive service support for many brands thru various delivery
models, like exclusive service centers (B2B), multi brand service centers(B2C), Onsite support, repair centers etc.,
with approximately 1800+ direct and Indirect experienced professionals
We are looking for energetic & enthusiastic candidate for DY. Manager Quality position, reporting to Head
Product Quality, based at Chennai.
Job Description:
The position will be accountable for:
(1) Customer Quality
(2) Product Quality
(3) Warranty Cost
(4) QMS
Details as below,
. Customer Quality by establishing to
o collect the data for each customer complaints and analysis.
o To take strong customer voice to Plant Quality team. Verify and validate the approval process and
control the service / call center process in settlement.
o Frequent visit to various market and Govt. Customers to understand the issues and coordinate
CFT to resolve the issue.
o Expert in Data analysis.
o Handling Customers to use consumer electronics.
o Field Quality towards improving the Product Quality and Customer Satisfaction
. Product Quality improvement by establishing to
o Strong analytical skill to identify the root cause and initiate improvements along with team.
o Bench mark study with competitor products and advise to our Engg. & R&D team for
development.
o New product validation at customer end.
. Drive QMS at Entity level; Internal Auditor for ISO:9001 is an add advantage. Coordinate Internal audit
activity for all functions at Head Office.
. Warranty Cost Monitoring & Reduction thru Service Incidents (Service Call) analysis and continually
improve process of Call Center, Supplier/Plant operations and Service Engineer Skill Development through
systematic (Lean Six Sigma) approach.
. Liaising & Collaboration with,
o L&D team towards Product knowledge and Diagnostics Skills improvement of Tech Support
Executives, Call Center Executives and Partner engineers etc.
o End customers / sales partners on Technical / Quality queries and Escalation management to
complete within stipulated time by managing either internal resources or tech partners / suppliers

. Monitoring End-of-Life of components/modules through continuous understanding of the technology
advancements and propose sustainable solutions.
. Assisting Product Management / Sourcing Team by Setting performance standards for new products /
Suppliers to enable faster & robust product launch
. MIS preparation with detailed analysis report.

Qualification / Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from a reputed Engineering Institute.
o 10 -12 years + of strong Product Quality experience from Electronics, Auto Electronics industry.
• For Diplome in Electronics Engineering with 12 -15 years experience from Customer Quality at
consumer electronics
• Knowledge on IT peripherals, AIDC devices, POS devices will be preferred
• Very good knowledge in MS Excel / Power Point / Word / Project mgmt. is preferred
• Expertise in latest Quality Concepts, Quality Tools, Quality Metrics
