Role & responsibilities

• He/she will be accountable for outcomes achieved.
• He shall be responsible for planning, designing and implementing the inspection protocols, develop and implement Inspection Schemes, authorize specific inspector to conduct specific inspection,
• Ensure that the inspectors authorized have the required competence, discharge all functions and take all actions in terms of provisions contained in the Agreement to fulfill obligations of TPI Agency set out in the Agreement.
• He will be responsible and accountable for the end to- end inspection process undertaken in his/her region.
• All decisions, reports and actions shall be taken under his authority. To Prepare Inspection Scheme based on detailed description, drawings, specifications, quality assurance plan and standards. Which include sampling plan, measurement/testing methodology, criteria for acceptance/rejection and such other information as may be necessary for conducting inspection
• To provide minimum 2 or more accepted quality suggestion for improvement in process inspection each month
• Assignment/Nomination of Authorized Inspector for each Product inspection/ Process inspection based on their qualification and experience
• Inspection Scheme and schedule of inspection shall be prepared with the approval of AM(QA) concerned accordingly
• The final inspection outcome Acceptance or Rejection, as the case may be, shall be finalized with the approval of the AM (QA) concerned
• To Prepare Action Taken Report (ATR) after conducting a root cause analysis and take suitable punitive, corrective and preventive actions to fix responsibility of failure and avoid recurrence to be submitted to the Authority along with a relevant periodical report not later than 30 days from the date of finalization of Joint Inspection outcome.
• To ensure that we attend all the inspection calls registered within 7 days failing which leads to Penalty.
• Ensure to avoid rejection of pre inspected goods by the consignee to avoid penalty.
• To maintain Zero Customer Complaint to avoid losing score in KPI
• Ensure that Overall Score of KPI is maintaining at the maximum mark avoid going below 70% at any cost. Immediate implementation mitigation plan to avoid losing KPI scores in future
• Furnish the monthly report about inspection carried out within 7 days after the end of each month to the Authority stating in reasonable detail the defects or deficiencies noted, if any, with particular reference to the Scope of the Work defined in Schedule I along with corrective actions to reduce such occurrence of defects or deficiencies.

Preferred candidate profile

7 years experience in TPI agency or in inspection field.
