Senior Civil Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for setting up-of Project Management office in the area provided by Authority.
• Will led all the Key personnel and support staff deputed in this project.
• Will be responsible for Project Implementation plan which includes various activities such as Team mobilization, Establishment of project policies, procurement strategy, Project Delivery plan, Health and safety plan, Environment Management plan.
• Responsible for defining monitoring Tools & reporting systems to govern the progress of the project alert set points, trend reports, hierarchy for escalation of issues & change management.
• Responsible for defining document Control System i.e. Identify the various stakeholders, including but not limited to, individual project component bidders and elements such as projects, contracts & services, required to deliver the project together with their interface relationships.
• Development of Baseline Schedule & Budget.
• Will review the Program of the Contractors & Budget and develop a program wide schedule based on the requirements of project components.
• Project Monitoring, Performance Monitoring and Reporting.
• Responsible for Schedule Management and shall develop a Work Break Down Structure (WBS) & develop & maintain the master schedule,
• Responsible for Cost Management at each stage of each individual project component and overall monitoring of the project.
• Responsible for Document control.
• If required, shall also assist Authority in preparing its periodic Project status reports, presentations, reports. Reporting to Authority- Develop daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, invoice, payment follow-up and yearly progress report covering design and construction progress in all control aspects namely milestone completion, cost, schedule, quality, safety and environment.
• Will establish a technical audit group, which shall ensure adherence related to technical audit and quality control as per the provisions of the EPC Agreement and shall include but not limited to the following activities such as Civil/Structural Works, Electrical works, Signaling & Telecom works, Safety Audits, etc.
• Cashflow and billing follow up.
• Responsible for final handover of the project.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: in industrial construction, particularly in steel plants or large-scale infrastructure.
• Project Management Skills: Proficient in budgeting, resource management.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge in structural design, foundations, and industrial building systems.
• Safety & Quality Standards: Familiar with safety regulations and environmental compliance in industrial projects.
• Communication & Teamwork: Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
