Job | BIM Architect / BIM MEP Engineer- Turner India

We are looking for a dynamic candidate for our VDC/ BIM Team. The candidate shall be responsible for the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital construction procedures for US projects.

Roles and Responsibilities :-

1. Generation and implementation of the BEP (BIM Execution Plan), which includes but is not limited to the following

a. Setting up a standard BIM Process

b. Defining working procedures for BIM implementation,

c. BIM Standardization, implementation of BIM Process & related BIM Solutions,

d. Setting up of the CDE (Common Data Environment) platform like BIM 360 (if applicable)

e. Defining responsibilities of all the project stakeholders

2. Quality Checks / Model Audits to ensure that all the BIM models submitted by respective consultant meets the BIM standards for e.g. LOD specification

3. Carry out Design Coordination to using BIM models to highlight any discrepancies and coordinating with the respective design consultant to get them resolved.

4. Clash Coordination of the 3D BIM model using Autodesk REVIT and Navisworks

a. Running the Clash Test

b. Generating the Clash Log and sharing it with all the concerned Design Consultants

c. Arranging and chair the coordination meetings

d. Discussing and suggesting solutions for the observed clashes with the Design Consultants

e. Re-Checking the updated model for any clashes

f. Assuring and Submitting a Clash Free model

g. Documenting all the clashes and resolutions along with the final signoff.

5. Extract data from the 3D BIM models like material quantities and schedules etc.

6. Provide support and training to the project team to make them aware of the Data Exchange (DE) platform being used on the project.

7. Proactive collaborate and communications with the Client and their BIM consultants in relation to BIM deliverables.

8. Review drawings from the Contractor / Consultants to make sure that all the drawings are generated/extracted from the clash free BIM model

9. Providing support to designers and engineers on the drawing presentation and related site physical updates

10. Preparing Work Status Report, BIM Presentation, Clash Detection Report on fortnightly basis

11. Collaboration during BIM Progress Meetings and advise,

12. Reviewing Project Documentation like RFI, Discrepancy report, etc.

13. Generating and updating the 4D and 5D simulations on monthly basis to have a visual track of the progress of the project and the cost of the project respectively.

14. Review of Coordination Shop drawings from Contractor / vendors.

15. Review the design changes which happen during construction and make sure that all the changes are captured in the BIM model. This also includes the clash coordination process for the updated model as well.

Review the as-built model provided by the Contractor matches the redline draw.
