Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java 8, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Implement and enhance features related to cart management and checkout processes, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Design and implement APIs for smooth communication between backend and frontend components.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver features on time and within scope.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and sharing knowledge with team members.
• Optimize backend performance for scalability and reliability, focusing on speed and reducing latency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to the backend infrastructure, cart system, and checkout flows.
• Implement automated tests to ensure quality assurance and the smooth functioning of cart and checkout features.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Java development, Spring Boot, and microservices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience with Java 8, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Expertise in building, deploying, and scaling applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Solid understanding of database design and optimization, particularly with relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in e-commerce platforms and working with cart and checkout systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of design patterns, performance tuning, and concurrency.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
