The QA Analyst will be responsible for analyzing requirements, user stories, and design documentation to ensure that they are clearly defined, complete, and testable. The QA Analyst will be responsible for the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify new and existing (regression) software functionality. The QA Analyst will test the applications via Black Box, Regression, Release, Stress, and Negative testing methods. The ideal candidate will contribute both to the definition and the enforcement of quality assurance processes and procedures based on best practice methodology.
Key Accountabilities
Experienced with software testing, and able to be responsible for the full lifecycle of effective testing, from early strategy to final reporting
Strong understanding of QA processes and testing terminology.
Familiarity with mobile and web software development lifecycles and methodology.
Experienced with reviewing, collaborating on, and writing new test cases.
Great communication skills including in cross-discipline conversations.
Run through test plans on new applications to ensure they satisfy all requirements.
Participate in maintaining and establishing quality assurance standards and best practices.
Provide feedback, and report issues to the software engineers.
Assists in maintaining a physical inventory of test devices.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Mandatory Skills
2+ years of experience testing mobile or web software
Experience working in Agile environments.
Experience working in JIRA or similar project management tools
Familiarity with development tools such as Browser Stack, App Center, Test Flight and Google Beta
Familiarity in Automation Testing using Selenium, Microsoft App Center Tests or similar technologies.
