Front-End Engineer

A forward-thinking technology company that specializes in developing pioneering solutions for the digital space, is looking for a skilled Front-End Engineer. The engineer will be focused on the enhancement of the companys revolutionary Chrome extension, sophisticated marketplace platform, and user-centric mobile application. Leveraging state-of-the-art technologies like TypeScript, React, and GraphQL, the chosen candidate will partner closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to architect and build scalable, high-performing web applications that promise an unmatched user experience. Required Skills:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Full-Stack Engineer with a strong focus on front-end development using React, TypeScript, and GraphQL
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive design principles
• Extensive experience with state management libraries like Redux or context API in React
• Prior experience in constructing complex, full-scale web applications from scratch, based solely on Figma designs is desirable
• Some experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js is nice to have
• In-depth knowledge of GraphQL query language and Apollo Client for data fetching and management is preferred
• Familiarity with modern frontend build tools and workflows (e.g., webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier) is desirable but not a requirement
• Nice to have some experience in developing and maintaining Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) or mobile applications using React Native
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Fluent in spoken and written English communication
  

Offer Details:

• Short -term contractor position (no medical/paid leave)
• Full-time dedication (40 hours/week)
• Required: 4 hours PST overlap
