Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Create, deploy, and manage native Kubernetes clusters with a focus on dependability, scalability, and high availability
- In Kubernetes clusters, implement and maintain Cilium for network security and observability
- Work together with cross-functional teams to establish and put into effect best practices for performance optimization, tooling, and Kubernetes orchestration
- Investigate and fix Kubernetes infrastructure, networking, and performance problems
- Work along with the development team to improve Kubernetes environment application deployment and monitoring techniques
- Utilize and oversee AWS cloud services to enable apps built using Kubernetes
- Keep up with the latest developments in Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure technology
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- Demonstrated ability to manage native Kubernetes clusters in production settings
- Excellent command of Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Practical knowledge using Cilium for Kubernetes observability and network security
- Thorough understanding of networking, tooling, Kubernetes orchestration, and performance optimization Work experience with AWS cloud services
- Proficiency in scripting and automation in either Golang and/or Python
- Kubernetes certification, such as the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), is nice
- Nice to have prior experience with different container orchestration platforms
- Prior experience with container runtime environments such as Docker is desirable
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automation technologies is preferred
- Outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
