Multimedia Developer

• Hands-on experience with GStreamer plug-in development and GStreamer application development
• Capability to troubleshoot GStreamer issues
• Provide live streaming, VOD, and video chat functionality
• Create media servers such as the Nginx RTMP module, Licode, Kurento, and media soup
• Improve multimedia SDKs like FFmpeg, GStreamer, and WebRTC
• Enhance the audio/video quality of applications
• Participate in the development of technical specifications and code reviews with other engineers

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
• Excellent programming skills in C++ and at least one of the following languages: C, Java, Python, or Golang is a must
• Must be proficient in video or audio fundamentals, as well as streaming
• Experience with FFmpeg, VLC, OBS studio, WebRTC, x264, and x265 is advantageous
• Experience with the Nginx RTMP module, Licode, Kurento, mediasoup, or Jitsi is preferred
• Experience with video chat, live streaming, or video conferencing is preferred
• Great communication skills
