Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

• Assist in developing fundamental infrastructure components that all other teams build upon (cloud stack, compute platform, cloud services, service mesh, cloud provisioning, and networking stack)
• Ensure reliability, scalability, efficiency, and high availability to new and existing users around the world
• Help to deliver and operate foundational platforms, tools, and cloud environments.
• Utilize core software engineering with strong foundational DevOps and cloud concepts to build solutions

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• A minimum of 10 years experience in the software development industry in an agile and growth-oriented tech
• environment
• Should possess experience in leading and shipping large scope technical projects while collaborating with multiple
• experienced engineers
• Knowledge of utilizing public cloud providers (preferably GCP - including various services)
• Must possess an understanding of container and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in full-cycle development using Python
• Must possess a strong sense of ownership and experience building and operating high-scale, distributed systems across entire software life cycles
• Well-versed with bash scripting and automation
• Strong grasp of networking concepts like firewalls, VPCs, setting them up on the cloud for rigorous network segmentation and functionality
• Hands-on experience of working with various CI/CD tools like Git Actions
• Must possess excellent communication skills and capability of contributing as part of a team and across
• engineering teams
• Must show an urge of building cutting-edge cloud-native infrastructures using public clouds
• The ability to build and ship frameworks and platforms that offer security, efficiency, and high availability
• Must possess a deep understanding of different components of robust and scalable cloud infrastructure
• Proven experience in deploying security control protocols like intrusion detection, DDoS prevention, container scanning, security monitoring, etc
• Must be able to optimize existing systems/services to improve performance and efficiency
• Help enhance availability by implementing industry and distributed systems best practices
