Senior J2EE Developer

• Co-ordinate between onshore and offshore team
• Provide guidance on designing techniques and coding standards
• Create maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using software development best practices and coding standards
• Recommend and implement improvements to processes and technologies
• Write clean, reliable, and highly maintainable code

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a J2EE developer
• 7+ years of experience with Java
• Enhance the API set - universal API Gateway, API-specific gateway, and large MS gateway
• Experience with Intellij Idea, Postman, Open API specification/swagger
• Extensive experience with Java development like JMS, Docker, Kubernetes
• Prolific experience building REST and soap APIs
• Experience working with OnPrem and cloud environments
• Strong cloud service development background with GCP/AWS using Java technology
• Develop Microservices for an enterprise transaction/data application
• Coordinate with DevOps team for deployment, complete test coverage, and security scan validation
• Experience with an API gateway like Kong, KrakenD, and Apigee
• Experience building/working with a microservice framework
• Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins
• Experience working on software reuse, refactoring, continuous integration, test automation, secure development, and test-driven development
• Prior Node.js experience is nice to have
