Front-End Developer

• Build customer-facing websites to enable consumer research teams in developing template websites to show their data
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes of site/app designs and convert them into the real, usable interfaces
• Utilize multiple markup languages to write web pages
• Perform regular site maintenance and optimization of web pages for maximum speed, scalability, and the best user experience
• Maintain brand consistency and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of web designers, developers, project managers, and system analysts to complete projects
• Maintain the technical documentation, including tests, analytics, and troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot website and coding issues where needed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
• Must have experience with Vanilla JavaScript and Ruby on Rails
• Knowledge of responsive design is a must
• Experience building Shopify templates is nice to have
