Release Support Engineer

• Proactively collaborate with product managers, engineering leaders, and other stakeholders to deliver services and tools that significantly boost developer productivity as well as the general caliber and effectiveness of our tech stack
• In order to promote technical excellence, work will be crucial in advancing strategic goals, encouraging the adoption of new or improved frameworks, and spotting chances for abstracting and constructing service layers
• Create and deploy scalable frameworks and new tools that enable hundreds of developers to write code more efficiently while also streamlining the organization's release process
• Maintain the definition and improvement of our technology stack by applying open-source tools, extending product-specific code, and/or creating original solutions to issues that arise
• Provide active mentoring through thorough code reviews, paired programming, and technical advice for overall architecture and design

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Release Support Engineer
• Extensive experience working with Bash/Command prompt and scripting tools (Python, NodeJS, etc)
• Familiarity with CircleCI
• Experienced with DevOps (CI/CD) and Git
• Expert and clear communication at all levels (spoken and written)
• Some understanding of Bitbucket for VCS ideal
• 3+ years of experience developing infrastructure for products and/or testing
• Ideally: Knowledge of using libraries from the current web development toolchain, including Babel, Mocha, Jest, Enzyme, esbuild, and Webpack
• Efficiently coordinates amongst functions to pinpoint holes in automation, discover tooling requirements, and lessen labor during the development procedure
• Nice to have some experience with DevOps when creating distributed frameworks, infrastructure, or other types of development and monitoring tools that are crucial for production systems
• Prior experience developing and promoting your own open-source tools or adding additions and improvements to existing open-source software is preferred
