Data/ML Engineer

• Design and implement a robust validation framework to ensure the accuracy and reliability of trend prediction models, utilizing extensive datasets encompassing time periods, imagery, and trend annotations
• Develop and fine-tune machine learning models for image understanding, capable of translating visuals into descriptive tags or embeddings, while integrating color analysis for comprehensive garment profiling
• Conduct systematic analyses of tabular data from fashion industry trendsetters to enhance predictive modeling and consider the influence of social media personalities in trend propagation
• Create and tune statistical models to identify and predict vogue trends, examining time-series data to identify trends and changes in style preferences over time
• When generating image-to-tags or image-to-embedding, a model must be trained from scratch or used straight out of the box.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field with a focus on Machine Learning or Computer Vision (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Data/ML Engineer
• Demonstrable expertise in computer vision projects.
• Proficiency in sophisticated machine learning methodologies and the creation of unique or unconventional machine learning models for image processing
• Ability to construct extensive validation frameworks and familiarity with the data and trend cycles of the fashion sector is highly valued
• Nice to have more familiarity with language model (LLM) apps and artificial intelligence tools
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage team members, oversee project activities, and see project components through to completion
• Excellent communication abilities and fluency in English are required for productive teamwork and documentation
