Full-Stack Engineer

• Collaborate with engineering and other internal teams to define the scope and scale of projects
• Design software system architecture, data structures, and design patterns
• Develop and implement scalable solutions, applications, and APIs that streamline the engineering process
• Enhance and maintain existing internal software tools and systems
• Troubleshoot, fix bugs, and identify bottlenecks to improve system efficacy
• Create and maintain technical documents
• Keep in touch with industry developments and technical breakthroughs

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Full-Stack Engineer
• Extensive experience in front-end and back-end development, with a focus on back-end
• Proficient in Ruby-. developing APIs and Services with Rails (at least 2+ years)
• Expertise with Javascript- using React and Redux to develop user interface features (2+ years)
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to debug and fix versatile systems
• Familiarity with CLI - Git, Docker, and the Unix (Linux or Mac) command line
• Expertise with version control practices and tools such as Git and GitHub
• Prior experience writing unit and integration-level tests
• Previous experience with Agile methodologies and proficiency with Node.js (2+ years) would be a plus
• Familiarity with Hooks and Component Lifecycles in React would be ideal
• Great to possess working knowledge of the general web application and API/services landscape, UI/UX, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Strong mocking skills
• Willingness to learn & work in languages such as Ruby, Elixir, and Typescript (within the company s stack)
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
