Senior Software Engineer

• Design and architect the company s protocol
• Design and build the virtual machine, primarily in Rust
• Contribute to the development of readable, well-tested, and well-documented code
• Own projects end-to-end, including architecture, development, DevOps/monitoring, testing, and project management

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• Prolific experience in Rust and Go
• Demonstrable experience building Virtual Machines (e.g., EVM, Near VM, Filecoin VM, CosmWasm, Wasmtime)
• Prior experience building a low-level untrusted code environment, like in a browser or WASM contexts
• Passionate about Web3, fractal scaling, bridging, modular blockchains, decentralized oracle networks, zk-rollups, optimistic rollups, L2s and L3s
• Experience in an autonomous, fast-paced startup environment
• Proven track record of demonstrating state-of-the-art innovation in distributed systems and/or virtual machines
• Graduate-level knowledge in cryptography (threshold cryptography, distributed key generation, elliptic curves, zk-SNARKs, and multi-party computation
• Experience building on the Cosmos-SDK
• Familiar with the technical architectures of projects like Ethereum, Cosmos, StarkNet, Filecoin, and Nomad will be a plus
• Experience in Axelar, Chainlink, Celestia, IPFS, Arbitrum, Optimism, Near, and Polkadot is a plus
• Fluent in verbal and written English
