Job Description
- Create a device-spanning software platform for the business
- Establish excellent engineering practices (design documents, abstractions, and testing)
- As soon as the newest company hardware is out, develop software for it
- Create the software foundation for the upcoming wave of consumer gadgets
- Work on Electron primarily, with sporadic work across the stack (Python back-end)
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- Extensive background using Webpack, TypeScript, Electron.js, and Node.js
- Robust programming techniques and fast code throughput throughout the stack
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Prior experience developing personal full-stack applications or making valuable contributions to open-source
- Have a consideration for UX and code quality
- Prior experience working on data pipelines for machine learning is desirable
- Some experience with low-level systems hacking is preferred
- Prior experience working on some of the well-known Electron apps is nice to have
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
