Job Title: Group Finance Controller
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Finance Controller to oversee the financial operations of our Indian headquarters and its overseas subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of finance, compliance, costing and reporting standards, with a proven ability to lead financial strategy and operations in a multi-national context.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the company and its subsidiaries.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Banking and management of banking facilities and other credit facilities
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that support business objectives and drive growth.
- Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to enhance profitability
Budgeting:
- Costing -is of key importance to business , and position requires thorough knowledge of costing and in past should have handled costing part of business.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations in all operating countries, including tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement robust risk management processes to safeguard company assets.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and capabilities.
Financial Systems and Processes:
- Optimize financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Conversant with the RBI regulations and filings.
- Prepare financial presentations and reports for board meetings and other stakeholder engagements.
Qualifications:
Education:
- C.A. /Inter C.A. /Cost Accountant /MBA Finance or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in finance & Accounts with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing overseas subsidiaries is a strong advantage.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Indian and international accounting standards (IFRS)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
