Tube Investments of India - Head - Operations (18-20 yrs)

- We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Operations to lead our Service, Foundry & Worm Gears Business Unit.

- In this crucial role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies that drive efficiency, quality, and profitability.

- You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, lead and motivate cross-functional teams, and set clear expectations to achieve our business goals.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure on-time delivery and first-time quality for new product development projects.

- Achieve and maintain an 85% On-Time In Full (OTIF) rate and zero quality/customer complaints.

- Motivate, reward, and recognize employees to create a high-performance work culture.

- Increase employee engagement score by 10% year-over-year.

- Implement best practices in safety, 5S, and lean manufacturing.

- Improve cash flow by ensuring no inventory aging above 30 days.

- Foster a positive industrial relations climate and drive long-term settlement objectives.

- Continuously analyze demand and supply trends, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions through continuous improvement or capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.

Qualifications:

- MBA (Operations Management) or equivalent degree in a relevant field.

Required Skills;

- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of manufacturing operations.

- Proven track record of success in a manufacturing environment.

- Knowledge of machine programming, CNC & conventional machines (Hobbing & Grinding) is a plus.

- Experience in new product development processes.

- Financial acumen with a strong understanding of cost control and profitability.

- Big-picture thinking with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans.

Preferred Skills:

- 18+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry with a strong machine shop background.

- Experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
