Deputy Manager - Manufacturing

Role & responsibilities

Production Planning: To develop production plans for the month and to effectively utilize the resource for achieving the daily / monthly targets as per plans and to ensure the on time delivery as per the targets for both internal and external customers.

Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste (Yield improvement), and maximize productivity. Implement lean manufacturing principles and advanced techniques to streamline operations.

Cost Control: To optimize both fixed and variable costs and improve expenditure control by frequent monitoring and enforcing of stringent targets in addition to creating awareness, implementing best practices and effective utilization of resources

Safety Compliance & Employee Morale: Promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to best practices. Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to minimize workplace accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Promote high performance work culture, through Kaizens, SGA and CFTs.

Preferred candidate profile

8-10 years of experience in the ferrous, Grey or SG Iron, melting & moulding operations either in resin moulding, Furan or alpha set.
