Job Description:
- Tube Products of India, part of the Murugappa Group, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager of Exports Marketing to enhance our Sales & Business Development efforts.
- This role is critical in driving sales of our automotive and tube-making products across various international markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contract Review: Collaborate with customers to review all technical and commercial terms related to sales activities, ensuring clarity and alignment with company standards.
- Sales Collection Activities: Develop and implement effective strategies for optimizing collections and managing accounts receivable.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for new product introductions and expansion into new customer segments, specifically targeting Tier 2 and 3 companies.
- Demand Forecasting: Analyze market trends and customer data to accurately forecast demand and align production and inventory accordingly.
- Customer Portal Management: Oversee the maintenance and functionality of the customer portal, ensuring it meets customer needs and facilitates seamless communication.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of competitor strategies and market positioning to inform sales tactics and business decisions.
- Customer Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their expectations, aligning our offerings to meet organizational goals effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in export sales and marketing, preferably within the steel industry.
- Proven exposure to international markets, including EU, NA, South America, and Southeast Asia.
- Experience handling a minimum business volume of - 250 Crores.
- Strong analytical skills for effective demand forecasting and competitor analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) tools and data analysis
