Role & responsibilities

• Well versed with steel, structure steel, Hot Dip Galvanizing codes and local/international standards like IS, BS EN, ASTM.
• Build, establish and develop a robust safety culture in the unit. Take responsibility to contribute to a safe work environment actively participating in the development and upkeep of process control and safety practices.
• Lead the organization in achieving goals and objectives and monitor progress toward achieving them.
• Overseeing all the SOPs/ Work instructions and supporting documents and to ensure to have it as per QMS standards.
• Development of inspectors and other team members with respect to QMS representatives
• To resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
• To supervise and ensure proper maintenance of materials and to advice on technology and modifications required for a simpler and cost saving mechanism.
• Manage the daily operations of the plant, including production planning, material procurement, equipment maintenance etc.
• Ensure that the plants production meets company quality standards and production plans.
• Lead and guide the production team to ensure efficient collaboration and increased productivity.
• Coordinate cooperation with other departments to maintain the plants smooth operation.
• Lead the team, providing mentorship and guidance to Operators
• Lead the department`s development of working methods, investment plan and continuous improvements.
• Ensure efficient, safe and quality controlled processes.
• Foster an innovative and inclusive organizational culture with focus on continuous improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred candidate profile

• Relevant degree in engineering or relevant industry experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in galvanizing unit
• Experience in process, production or maintenance.
• Experience in supporting of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 etc.
• Good at strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and advancement
• Knowledge of galvanizing techniques and processes
