Job Description – Supply Chain Manager
Position: Manager - SCM

Key Responsibilities:

1. Third-Party Coordination:
• End-to-end follow-ups with third-party vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements with third-party manufacturers.

1. Procurement & Inventory Management:
• Issue and track purchase orders based on marketing department requirements.
• Plan and manage FMS (Field Marketing Stock) procurement, replenishment, and despatch.
• Ensure total control of inventory as per company norms and availability across depots.

1. Product Development & Compliance:
• Coordinate with management, QC, and third-party vendors for new product development.
• Facilitate the creation of new product codes, batch numbers, and MRP in coordination with the accounts department.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse quality parameters and government statutory documentation.

1. Warehouse & Logistics Operations:
• Oversee central warehouse (CWH) operations, ensuring seamless product inward, storage, and dispatch.
• Ensure error-free dispatches from the CWH to all depots within stipulated timelines.
• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory records and conduct bi-monthly physical verification for key/fast-moving items.

1. Stock & Sales Coordination:
• Resolve stock availability issues in coordination with the production and export teams.
• Provide near-expiry and sales return reports to facilitate proper inventory planning.
• Liaise with depots for stock allocation and ensure timely dispatch of goods.

1. Financial & Audit Management:
• Monitor and approve petty cash expenses related to warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with the accounts team for vendor and transporter payments.
• Prepare and submit GST reports, month-end stock reports, and other MIS reports.
• Support internal, external, and bank audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

1. Team Management & Process Improvement:
• Lead and manage warehouse manpower for smooth daily operations.
• Implement process improvements to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure statutory documentation (STNs, E-invoices, E-way bills) is completed before dispatch.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of procurement & supply chain management processes.
• Expertise in warehouse & inventory management systems.
• Proficiency in ERP & SAP systems for logistics and stock management.
• Experience with government statutory compliance & documentation.
• Hands-on experience with MIS reporting & analytics.
