Job Description
- Test Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes using Informatica, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Data Validation: Validate data migration and transformation processes by comparing source and target data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Automation: Implement and maintain automated testing scripts where applicable, using tools such as Informatica, SQL, or other relevant technologies.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and testing procedures, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, source systems, and transformation rules.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing of ETL jobs to identify bottlenecks and ensure optimal performance.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in ETL testing, with a strong focus on Informatica.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data validation and data profiling.
- Knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modelling.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, qTest).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
