Job Description
Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage data privacy projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with global data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Conduct privacy risk assessments and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
- Implement corrective measures to mitigate data privacy risks.
- Collaborate with legal, IT, and other departments to integrate data privacy practices across the organization.
- Serve as the point of contact for data privacy issues and inquiries.
- Develop and implement data privacy policies and procedures.
- Monitor and update policies in response to changes in data privacy laws and regulations.
- Conduct training sessions to educate employees on data privacy and protection best practices.
- Promote a culture of data privacy awareness within the organization.
- Manage data privacy incidents and breaches, including investigation, documentation, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans.
- Prepare and present reports on data privacy compliance to senior management.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data privacy activities and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Law, IT, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data privacy and protection.

- Working knowledge of global data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, etc.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus.
