Key Skills for ServiceNow ITOM Developer

1. ServiceNow Expertise Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including navigation, administration, configuration, and scripting.
2. ITOM Suite Experience – Hands-on experience with IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
3. Cloud Infrastructure – Exposure to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud.
4. On-Prem Virtual Infrastructure – Experience with VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V.
5. Operating Systems Knowledge – Familiarity with Windows or Linux/Unix environments.
6. Networking Concepts – Understanding of switches, load balancers, subnets, and firewalls.
7. ITIL & Process Automation – Experience with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, ticketing, workflow automation, and reporting.
8. Agile Development – Ability to apply Agile software development methodologies.
9. Solution Architecture – Ability to architect and migrate legacy solutions into ServiceNow.
10. Problem-Solving Skills – Strong analytical mindset to resolve technical issues efficiently.

12. Project Management – Ability to manage work within demanding timelines and guide junior team members.
